About the Role

We’re looking for Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to apply their acute-care and respiratory expertise to AI evaluation.

You’ll create realistic respiratory care scenarios covering assessment and intervention, develop expert reference answers, and evaluate AI-generated guidance for physiologic accuracy and patient safety.

The work focuses on practical respiratory judgment—recognizing when ventilation or airway recommendations may sound appropriate but could be unsafe for a patient.

What You’ll Do

• Author realistic respiratory care scenarios from assessment through intervention.

• Develop reference answers explaining the clinical reasoning behind changes in respiratory care and ventilator settings.

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for physiologic accuracy and patient safety.

• Identify unsafe or inappropriate ventilator settings and airway recommendations.

• Clearly document your clinical reasoning so another respiratory therapist can follow and evaluate it.

Requirements

• RRT credential from the NBRC with an active, unencumbered state license.

• At least 2 years of acute-care experience as a respiratory therapist.

• Strong expertise in ventilator management, blood gas interpretation, and airway care.

• Clear written English and the ability to document clinical reasoning.

• Availability for at least 10 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU, NICU, or ED experience.

• ACCS, NPS, or RPFT specialty credential.

• Preceptor or clinical education experience.

Work & Engagement

• Fully remote and asynchronous.

• Independent contractor.

• Minimum 10 hours/week with no stated maximum.

• Flexible weekly hours that can scale up or down with project needs.

• Ongoing project work rather than one-off task batches.

• Weekly payment via Stripe.

• No screen recording, keystroke monitoring, or idle timers.

• No fixed hours or night shifts.

• Rate is based on experience and is not negotiated downward after starting.
