About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced mental health professionals with specialized expertise in working with children and adolescents who have experienced abuse and trauma.

In this role, you will apply your clinical knowledge to help develop and evaluate next-generation AI systems. Your expertise will help ensure that AI-generated content involving vulnerable young people reflects appropriate trauma-informed practice, clinical nuance, ethical decision-making, and sensitivity to safeguarding concerns.

No prior AI experience is required. Your professional expertise and clinical judgment are the primary qualifications.

What You'll Do

• Analyze case-based scenarios involving child and youth abuse and trauma.

• Review and evaluate AI-generated mental health guidance related to abuse and trauma cases.

• Develop content describing appropriate trauma-informed approaches for young survivors.

• Identify clinical, ethical, or safety-related gaps in AI-generated responses.

• Provide clear, evidence-informed feedback to improve the quality of AI-generated content.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure materials reflect appropriate clinical standards.

• Participate in iterative review cycles to refine and improve training and evaluation data.

• Document recommendations that improve the sensitivity, accuracy, and safety of AI systems working with vulnerable populations.

Who We're Looking For

This opportunity is intended for highly experienced clinical professionals with substantial expertise working directly with children or adolescents affected by abuse and trauma.

You should have:

• A completed MD, PhD in Psychology, or PhD in Social Work, or an equivalent advanced clinical qualification.

• Extensive clinical experience working with young people who have experienced abuse.

• Specialized expertise in trauma-informed care and interventions for young survivors.

• Current or recent clinical engagement in this area of practice.

• Strong clinical assessment and case-analysis skills.

• Excellent ethical judgment and written communication abilities.

• A strong understanding of privacy, confidentiality, safeguarding, and vulnerable-population considerations.
