About the Role

We’re looking for experienced Public Safety Communications Dispatchers to contribute to a customer project involving real-time request coordination and routing. In this role, you’ll apply your professional expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input.

No prior AI experience is required. Your domain knowledge is what matters.

This opportunity is suited to dispatchers and coordinators with experience in 911, police, ambulance, emergency, fire, or other public safety communications environments who are skilled at prioritizing incident requests, communicating clearly, managing multiple channels, and following standardized protocols.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze and triage incoming incident or service requests, determining priority levels based on established criteria.

• Route requests to appropriate resources or agencies using clear and efficient communication through simulated radio, phone, or digital chat channels.

• Maintain composure and accuracy while handling multiple simultaneous communication channels, ensuring critical information is communicated without delay.

• Apply standardized protocols and checklists to ensure consistent, protocol-driven responses across scenarios.

• Document scenarios and decision-making processes to provide input for AI training datasets.

• Provide insights into workflow optimization, escalation procedures, and multi-channel coordination within public safety environments.

• Participate in periodic feedback reviews to enhance the relevance and quality of training data.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a dispatcher or coordinator in a public safety environment, including 911, police, ambulance, emergency, or fire services.

• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests under pressure.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly in fast-paced environments.

• Experience with radio, phone, and digital chat communication platforms.

• Strong understanding of standardized operating procedures, checklists, and escalation protocols used in public safety communications.

• Ability to remain calm, focused, and detail-oriented in dynamic scenarios.

• Familiarity with documenting incident details, actions taken, and the rationale for decisions as part of routine processes.

Compensation & Engagement

This is a remote contractor opportunity with output-based compensation. Experts are paid based on completed tasks that meet the project specifications. The time required to complete each task may vary depending on the expert’s experience and workflow, and minimum submission requirements apply.

Start Timeline & Availability

Roles are typically filled within 48 hours. Selected experts are expected to begin their first tasks within 24–48 hours after completing onboarding.
