About the Role
We are seeking experienced Pediatric Hospitalist Physicians to contribute their clinical expertise to an AI training and evaluation project focused on pediatric inpatient care and medical documentation standards.
You’ll review pediatric medical records, verify the accuracy and completeness of clinical information, and identify documentation gaps or inconsistencies. Your expertise in pediatric hospital medicine will help improve how AI systems interpret clinical records, including age-specific medical details and pediatric treatment considerations.
What You’ll Do
Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training and evaluation.
Verify that clinical information and claims are supported by the underlying medical record.
Review pediatric inpatient documentation, including history of present illness (HPI), past medical history (PMH), birth and developmental history, immunization status, assessments, and plans.
Apply established review guidelines consistently across records.
Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information, including weight-based dosing and age-appropriate clinical details.
Provide structured feedback to improve AI models and clinical data quality.
Communicate findings and documentation concerns clearly to the project team.
Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree.
Board certification in Pediatrics, or Pediatrics with a Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialty certification.
At least 5 years of hospitalist experience.
Current or recent inpatient pediatric hospitalist experience within the last 2 years.
Strong understanding of pediatric inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
Experience reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
Strong attention to detail and ability to apply defined guidelines consistently.
Preferred Experience
Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), utilization review, or medical coding and quality assurance (QA).
Experience across a broad pediatric patient population, including:
General pediatrics.
Newborn and nursery care.
Pediatric subspecialty co-management.
Complex chronic conditions.
Familiarity with inpatient workflows, including admissions, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge documentation.
Work & Compensation
Role type: Independent Contractor
Work arrangement: Remote
Openings: 50
Payment structure: Output-based, with payment for tasks that meet project specifications.
Submission requirements: Minimum submission requirements apply, including a minimum number of tasks per week.
The listed hourly rate is provided for reference. Because compensation is output-based and task completion times vary, the annualized equivalent is an estimate only—not a guaranteed salary or earnings commitment.
Why This Opportunity
