About the Role

We’re seeking experienced Medical Assistant Experts to create and refine healthcare reasoning challenges used to evaluate AI systems.

You’ll apply practical medical assisting knowledge to realistic clinical scenarios, develop questions that test how AI interprets healthcare workflows, and assess model responses for clinical accuracy, practical applicability, and alignment with medical assisting standards of practice.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity for medical assistants who want to apply their hands-on healthcare experience to AI training and evaluation.

What You’ll Do

• Develop clinical questions and case studies covering patient intake, vital signs assessment, medical procedures, EHR documentation, clinical laboratory procedures, pharmacology basics, and related medical assisting topics.

• Evaluate AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy and alignment with medical assisting standards of practice.

• Provide detailed, structured feedback identifying errors, gaps, and areas requiring improvement.

• Help calibrate question difficulty so evaluation content remains appropriately challenging and educational.

• Collaborate with healthcare and technical experts to refine clinical reasoning challenges and content quality.

Requirements

• Active CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent Medical Assistant certification in good standing.

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.

• Proven clinical practice experience with a strong understanding of medical assisting responsibilities across clinical and administrative functions.

• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to assess healthcare content accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple years of medical assisting practice or substantial clinical experience.

• Experience across diverse healthcare environments, such as primary care, specialty clinics, or urgent care.

• Experience in healthcare training, quality improvement, or healthcare technology projects.

• Additional certifications such as phlebotomy or EKG are a plus.
