About the Role

We’re looking for NRP-certified paramedics to apply their advanced life support expertise to the evaluation and improvement of AI models.

You’ll author realistic ALS scenarios, develop reference answers grounded in clinical reasoning, and evaluate AI-generated responses for protocol accuracy and patient safety. The work is designed for experienced practicing paramedics who can translate real-world emergency medicine expertise into clear, structured clinical reasoning.

What You’ll Do

• Author realistic ALS scenarios spanning the workflow from dispatch through transfer of care.

• Write reference answers explaining the clinical reasoning behind each intervention.

• Evaluate AI-generated responses for protocol accuracy and patient safety.

• Identify treatment plans that may appear clinically appropriate but could result in patient harm.

• Clearly document your clinical reasoning so another experienced medic can understand and evaluate it.

Required Qualifications

• NRP certification with an active state paramedic license.

• At least 2 years of ALS field experience on a 911 service.

• Strong clinical expertise in cardiology, airway management, and pharmacology.

• Clear written English and the ability to document clinical decisions and reasoning.

• Availability for at least 10 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical care or flight credentials such as FP-C or CCP-C.

• Experience as an FTO, field supervisor, or EMS educator.

• Experience working in a high-acuity urban system or tactical EMS environment.

Work Arrangement

• Fully remote and asynchronous.

• Independent contractor engagement.

• Minimum 10 hours per week with no stated maximum.

• Hours can scale up or down from week to week.

• No fixed shifts, screen recording, keystroke monitoring, or idle timers.

• Ongoing project work rather than single-task batches.

• Payment is made weekly via Stripe.

• Your rate is based on your experience and is not negotiated downward after you begin.
