About the Role

We are building a network of healthcare professionals to support AI training and evaluation projects focused on medical reasoning, clinical accuracy, and evidence-based healthcare content.

As a Medical General Expert, you’ll review AI-generated medical responses, develop expert healthcare content, and evaluate how effectively AI systems explain clinical concepts and solve medical problems. Your expertise will help identify reasoning errors, verify medical information, and improve the accuracy, clarity, and reliability of AI-generated healthcare content.

Important: There is no immediate project assignment for this opportunity. Qualified candidates may be contacted first when relevant projects become available and may gain access to future opportunities through the expert network.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop AI training content: Create detailed prompts and high-quality model answers across relevant medical and healthcare topics.

  • Evaluate clinical reasoning: Review AI-generated responses for medical accuracy, logical consistency, and appropriate step-by-step problem-solving.

  • Rank and compare responses: Assess multiple answers based on correctness, reasoning quality, clarity, and relevance to the prompt.

  • Fact-check medical information: Identify inaccuracies, unsupported conclusions, unsafe assumptions, missing contraindications, and misinterpretations of clinical tests.

  • Assess clinical appropriateness: Evaluate consistency in timelines, physiology, dosing logic, care settings, and patient safety considerations.

  • Provide structured feedback: Write precise explanations that demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and identify opportunities to improve model performance.

  • Test model integrity: Identify potential inaccuracies or biases and assess reliability across different healthcare scenarios.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medicine (MD/DO), Nursing, Public Health (MPH), Health Sciences, or Allied Health.

  • Solid understanding of disease processes, patient care, public health principles, healthcare systems, and medical terminology.

  • Ability to explain why a clinical conclusion follows from the available evidence.

  • Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing medical information and identifying potential patient safety concerns.

  • Minimum C1 English proficiency, with strong written communication skills.

  • Ability to assess internal consistency, including clinical timelines, physiological reasoning, dosing logic, and appropriateness for different care settings.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain consistent quality in a remote, hourly contractor role across time zones.
