About the Opportunity

We’re seeking experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to apply their prehospital care expertise to the evaluation and improvement of advanced AI systems.

You’ll develop realistic emergency medical scenarios and assess AI-generated responses for patient assessment, BLS protocols, clinical decision-making, scene safety, and appropriate handoff procedures.

This is expert-level evaluation work for experienced EMS professionals—not routine data annotation.

What You’ll Do

• Develop realistic prehospital scenarios spanning dispatch, patient assessment, treatment, transport, and handoff.

• Create reference answers that explain the field reasoning behind appropriate protocol and treatment decisions.

• Evaluate AI-generated responses for clinical and protocol accuracy.

• Identify recommendations that may appear appropriate but could create safety risks in a real emergency setting.

• Document your reasoning clearly enough for other EMS professionals to understand and evaluate.

Required Qualifications

• NREMT certification with an active state EMT license.

• At least 2 years of field experience with a 911 or interfacility EMS service.

• Strong knowledge of patient assessment, BLS protocols, and scene management.

• Ability to clearly document clinical assessments, treatment decisions, and handoff reasoning in written English.

• Availability to contribute at least 10 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-call-volume urban EMS system.

• Field Training Officer (FTO) experience.

• EMS continuing education or instructor experience.

• AEMT certification.

• Current enrollment in paramedic education.

Work Arrangement

• Fully remote and asynchronous.
