Disease-Area Clinician

Position Type: Part-Time Contract
Location: Remote — United States
Compensation: $150–$230/hour
Engagement: Approximately 10–20 hours over a 1–2 week pilot

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced disease-area clinician to support expert evaluation work focused on commercial drugs and drug-development programs.

You will apply your clinical expertise to assess clinical trial results, develop and critique evaluation rubrics, and determine how evidence from clinical trials could influence real-world prescribing and treatment decisions within your therapeutic area.

The engagement begins with a short paid pilot, with potential for recurring work as the project expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and critique rubrics for evaluating commercial drugs and drug-development programs.

• Interpret clinical trial endpoints and assess the significance of reported results.

• Evaluate whether trial outcomes are likely to influence prescribing decisions.

• Assess the potential implications of clinical evidence for real-world treatment uptake within your therapeutic area.

• Apply your disease-area expertise consistently across assigned drugs and development programs.

Requirements

• US-based practicing physician (MD/DO).

• Board-certified and actively practicing in your specialty.

• Deep clinical expertise in a specific therapeutic or disease area.

• Familiarity with biotech and pharmaceutical drug-development programs.

• Strong ability to interpret clinical evidence and connect trial outcomes to real-world clinical practice.

• US market experience is required.

• Format: Fully remote
